Today I finished a small side project which originally was just a test how the Housing of the Piratio could look like:
This is a small Bluetooth speaker with about 20W Output ( Ebay seller claims 100W. Yes, sure…).
It consists of:
- some 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers, bought some years ago,
- a TDA7492P-based BT Board ( Ebay - Search “TDA7492P Amplifier Board”, the red one…),
- an old Laptop Power Supply ( 19V/4A ),
- self made MDF wooden housing.
The AMP Board has the usual switches (“vol +/., play, skip, …) which I routed to an external Board on top of the Housing.
All in all about 15€/$ for a nice looking bluetooth speaker ( not counted the old speakers and power supply…).
The only annoying thing is that the Amp Board powers on with some stupid beeps at maximum volume…
